  • Q: Is the Brinkerhoff Mansion like a Bed and Breakfast?
A: No, it has no rooms for bedrooms. What had originally been bedrooms on the second floor is now rented out as private office space.
  • Q: Can I have my wedding at the Brinkerhoff Mansion?
A: We are not hosting weddings; however, we do host bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, receptions, wedding party photography, and offer a bridal suite to prepare for the wedding.
  • Q: How many people can I have at my event?
A: Our maximum occupancy is 143.
  • Q: How many people can I seat for a dinner in one room?
A: The Isabella Room is the largest room and it can seat 50 people.
  • Q: Do you have a liquor license?
A: No, we do not, but a caterer or beverage service with a liquor license is welcome to serve at your event.
  • Q: Is there a kitchen my caterer can use?
A: Yes, however, it is not a commercial kitchen but, we have found it has ample space for food prep.
  • Q: Is there a handicap ramp or other means to access the Mansion?
A: There is none as of yet. We are planning to have both parking and a ramp installed to facilitate access. Because we are on the National Register of Historic Places registry, making great changes to the building require more than an average upgrade.
  • Q: What kind of tree is that giant tree in the front yard?
A: That is a Ginko tree that was supposedly planted by George and Isabella Brinkerhoff’s oldest daughter, Mariam, in 1870.
